How long is the turn around time for a mount? 3-6 months depending on scheduling, payment and damage to the animal/bird

Do you do any custom suggestion such as a platform or Head direction? All that will be decided upon viewing the animal and the owner's request.

.Do you do any fish replicas or is it from the original skin? We only do original skin and it must be preserved properly and fresh

How long have you been doing taxidermy? I have been doing taxidermy for over 20 years for myself and I have completed a one year course in one of the best schools in the United States - World Renown - East Coast Taxidermy.

What can you suggest when I get an animal , fish or waterfowl to best preserve it for best mounting? Anyone wanting to do taxidermy needs to contact me immediately after harvesting the animal so that the proper steps may be taken for preservaton and delivery.

Do you have any tips on field preparation? Preparation of any harvested animals are individually based on when they are harvested, where their location is and how quickly they are delivered to our shop.

Am I required to give you checked in tag information? Absolutely, we will not accept any animal that is not properly tagged and 100% verification of a valid license for the State it was harvested in.

What about a road kill that i would like to mount? Yes, we do but it depends on the condition of the animal and if it is a legal animal that can be preserved.

Do you tan hides? Yes. all of our hides are tanned and 100% guarenteed for the tanning, however, we are not responsible for what we cannot see such as old wounds, cysts, broken bones, etc.

What about birds? All birds harvested are done inhouse, skinned and fleshed using Borax, Dawn dish soap and a special thinner to preserve the skin. With birds we are not responsible for things we cannot see such as old wounds, broken bones, cysts, etc.

Please note:

This does not mean that the animal/bird cannot be properly done as it may require more work and special equipment to rebuild bones etc. This will be a conversation between the taxidermist and the owner/hunter.

We will always do our best to preserve your animal/bird to its natural beauty, however, this could change the mount choices and/or design based on any damage found. We will never do anything without a conversation with the owner/hunter.
